AMD-v/RVI disabled in VMWare with HyperV installed Windows 10

-

Symptom:

VMs in VMWare Workstation refuse to start with AMD-v/RVI checked.


Environment:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600

Windows 10 w/ Hyper-V installed. (for Linux env)

VMWare Workstation 15


How to solve:

make sure settings in BIOS is correct.

Uninstall Hyper-V in appwiz.cpl
